How to Request Certification Funding

Confirm Exam Availability
Contact the testing center to verify the exam is offered at a date and location you can attend before submitting.

Submit Funding Request
Log in to Navy COOL and submit your request for exam funding through the Credentials section.

Await Approval
Processing times vary. Ensure you submit well in advance of your intended test date.

Take the Exam
Pass the exam and upload your certificate/transcript to your COOL profile.
5
Update Your Record
Ensure the certification is reflected in your service record and EVAL/FITREP.
