Advanced graduate degree program focusing on cyberspace operations strategy, policy, and technical leadership.

CNODP - Computer Network Operations Development Program
Cryptologic Training Council

Mid-career continuing education program designed to enhance technical skills and operational expertise in CNO.

  • 4 phases: 1yr, 2yr, 5yr, 8yr experience
  • Currently open to National (P3) mission billets
  • Highly recommended for P3 billets

Officer Candidate School (OCS)

Available at various paygrades. Competitive selection for commission as Naval Officer.

STA-21 (Seaman to Admiral)

College completion program leading to commission. Available to E4-E6.

Cyber Warrant Officer

Technical expert track for senior CWTs. Highly competitive and specialized.

NCDT Sea Duty: Navy Cyber Defense Teams (NCDT) offer DCO afloat on CSG and ARG staffs. CWTs can earn ESWS/EAWS and are expected to receive at least one warfare qualification. CSG4/15 CWTs rapidly augment for dynamically certifying multiple afloat units.
Career Enhancement: Special duty assignments like DEVGRU, SRTs, JCOG, JCU, WHCA, and CQTT are considered career enhancing and demanding tours. Subsequent tours within these programs should not be looked at unfavorably. These assignments often involve extensive deployment/TDY and may provide opportunity to qualify EXWS.
